‘The Outlaws 3’ has broken box office records by exceeding over 4 million tickets.
According to the Korean Film Council, “Less than five days after its release of ‘The Outlaws 3’ had already pulled up an outstanding total of 4,003,688 moviegoers.”
On behalf of the cast and crew, Ma Dong Seok personally thanked the audience, stating, “Thank you. This is all thanks to the 4 million moviegoers who went to see ‘The Outlaws 3.’”
This achievement was reached by ‘The Outlaws 3’ more quickly than any of its prequels. As of June 4, ‘The Outlaws 3’ has exceeded over 4 million tickets, making it, the first Korean film to do so since ‘Confidential Assignment 2: The International‘ which was released last year.

‘The Outlaws 3’ currently has earned the fourth-highest single day at the box office for a Korean movie released during the summer vacation season, following ‘The Admiral: Roaring Currents,’ ‘Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days,’ and ‘Train to Busan.’
‘The Outlaws 3’ is an action-packed crime-fighting mission that tells the story of invincible monster detective Ma Dong Seok, who relocates to Seoul’s Gwangsu Avenue to capture the mastermind of a brand-new drug crime case. Lee Joon Hyuk and Aoki Munetaka play criminals in the film who will face off against the monster detective.
