As 2025 approaches, SEVENTEEN is gearing up to celebrate a major milestone: their 10th debut anniversary. From breakout hits like ‘Adore U’ and ‘Don’t Wanna Cry’ to chart-toppers like ‘HOT’ and ‘Left & Right,’ SEVENTEEN has become known for their exceptional ability to self-produce their music, choreography, and overall concept. This unique identity has been central to their success, allowing them to forge a deep connection with fans and continuously evolve as artists.
SEVENTEEN officially debuted on May 26, 2015, with a live showcase televised by MBC, making history as the first male K-pop group to debut with a one-hour live showcase on a major broadcasting channel. The name SEVENTEEN comes from the expression “13 members + 3 teams + 1 group,” symbolizing how the 13 members are divided into three subunits—Hip-Hop, Vocal, and Performance—and come together to form one cohesive group. Their fan club, CARAT, was inspired by the unit of measurement for diamonds, tying back to their debut EP ’17 Carat’ and its opening song, ‘Shining Diamond.’
As SEVENTEEN celebrates their 10th anniversary, they have been making exciting announcements for their fans. One of the major highlights is the release of the ‘Official Light Stick Ver.3 10th Anniv.,’ featuring a stunning Rose Quartz and Serenity color scheme. This special edition light stick includes a wireless stage control feature, further enhancing the concert experience and deepening the connection between SEVENTEEN and their devoted fans.
In addition to new music releases, SEVENTEEN will commemorate this milestone with a special fan event. The ‘SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND’ fanmeeting is scheduled for March 20 and 21 at the Incheon Munhak Main Stadium, where fans can celebrate the group’s decade-long journey. During this event, the ‘Official Light Stick Ver.3 10th Anniv.’ will be available for offline sales, with online pre-orders beginning on March 24 through Weverse Shop.
