Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 wraps up the season finale with the highest ratings.
The highly awaited prequel to The Tale Of The Nine Tailed (2020) starring Jo Bo Ah, Lee Dong Wook, and Kim Bum, wrapped up its last episode with a rating of 8.0 per cent. It was higher than the viewership score of 7.1 per cent from the second episode of the sequel.
The prequel places its main lead Lee Dong Wook in the year 1938. The era is when the Japanese occupation of Joseon takes place and how Lee Dong Wook’s character returns to his own time. The story also includes the characters of Ryu Hong Joo, played by Penthouse actress Kim So Yeon and Itaewon Class actor Ryu Kyung Soo as Cheon Moo-young.
The series also shows Kim Bum’s character, Lee Rang and Hwang Hee as Koo Shin Joo reprise their roles.
