New cast posters for the forthcoming tvN drama ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938’ have been released! The four main characters are shown holding various weapons/objects in the recently published posters.
The first poster features nine-tailed fox Lee Dong Wook as Yi Yeon with a Winchester rifle in his hands. A message that says, “You’re perplexed? I understand. Because that’s precisely how I feel right now,” expresses his feelings after being transported to 1938 and separated from his loved ones.
Mountain Goddess of the West, Kim So Yeon as Ryu Hong Joo dazzles onscreen with a white dress and opulent accessories. She says, “Honey, you came,” as she presents someone with a ring.
Half-gumiho Kim Bum as Yi Rang greets Yi Yeon by saying chillingly, “Brother, you aren’t dead yet?” The anger and rebelliousness in Yi Rang’s eyes appear to be reminiscent of the miscommunication he had with his elder brother Yi Yeon in 1938. In contrast to his stylish and perfectly tailored three-piece suit, he is holding a hefty axe in his right hand.
Yi Yeon’s longtime friend and former Mountain God of the North, Ryu Kyung Soo as Cheon Moo Young exudes mysterious vibes. Moo Young appears to have the mask in his hand when only half of his face is illuminated. Declaring an all-out war on Yi Yeon, he states, “I will seek my vengeance until I destroy everything he cherishes.”
The premiere of ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938’ will take place on May 6 at 9:20 PM KST(5:50 PM IST).
