On December 2, rookie boy group T1419 dropped their new single ‘Red Light, Green Light’. The track is also known as ‘Mugunghwa Blooms’ named after the traditional Korean game which gained international popularity after the release of ‘Squid Game’.
In an interview, the group mentioned that the track aims to convey the message that despite enduring unconditional pain in the process of reaching one’s dreams, one must not forget to enjoy the process of achieving that dream itself.
‘Red Light, Green Light’ is a solid track with powerful beats perfectly complimented with the group’s strong vocals, rap and performance. A performance music video has also been released for the single where the flawless and theatrical choreography of the group can be enjoyed, maximizing the effect of the song.
Leader Noa has participated in the songwriting process and successfully displayed the ambition of the group along with their growth and journey towards their dreams.
T1419 has also won the AAA Potential Award at the 2021 Asia Artist Awards. Furthermore, the group has also been nominated for the Rookie of the Year, K-Wave Popularity Award at the 2021 Seoul Music Awards.
T1419 debuted on January 11, 2021, with their first single album ‘ Before Sunrise Part. 1’. The group has released three albums since their debut and has also entered the Gaon Charts.
