February 22nd, South Korean singer SURAN made a comeback with her newest digital single, Devils in the City.

Devils in the City marks SURAN’s third single under her independent agency, S-TASY. Alongside her producer, Zayson, she worked on several aspects of the track such as production process, composition, and lyrics.
The song features rapper Dok2 who also worked on the lyrics and is known for his work with Drunken Tiger, Dynamic Duo, and Epik High.
SURAN’s work on this track displays a lot of emotion derived from real-life experiences. She says, “We have to keep in mind that anyone can become a devil in this world. Inspired by real experiences, this song expresses the ambivalence of human beings. I was going through some hard times and as I was recovering and pulling myself together, I was able to write this song.”
