‘Queen’ Sunmi is finally back!
Sunmi released her new single ‘Noir’ along with a bold music video on 4th March at 6pm KST. The track is co-composed and written by Sunmi, and EL CAPITXN produced it.
The track is a rich interpretation of the ‘Noir’ theme, it is an electronic retro- dance track that combines dreamy cinders, disco drums, and trendy 808 bass, showing off a different charm from the images the singer showed through her previous tracks.
The music video is full of fun sets, candy and glitter aesthetics. Even though the music video is full of colors, it shows and makes a bold statement towards the society, showing various cliches in the Noir genre.
Sunmi can be seen in various settings, but all locations give the same message of trying to get love and validation via social media as words like “follow”, “subscribe”, “like”, etc are shown throughout.
