Stray Kids member Felix will be the special MC for the new season of ‘Fridge Interview’.
On August 11, a Korean media outlet reported that Felix of Stray Kids has been selected as the special MC for the upcoming season of the YouTube variety show ‘Fridge Interview’.
‘Fridge Interview’ is a web variety talk show produced by Kurly on YouTube Channel-117 (일일칠 – 117), where guests reveal the contents of their refrigerators while sharing personal stories connected to the items. The program blends casual conversations with cooking, often featuring guests preparing a dish using ingredients from their fridge.
The show was first hosted by Dex (Kim Jin-young), who led three seasons of ‘Dex’s Fridge Interview’ from February 2023 to February 2025.
Sana of TWICE also joined the program as a special MC from March to June last year before becoming the second host for another season. ‘Sana’s Fridge Interview’ ran from March of this year until August 7.
According to reports, Felix’s appointment as special MC was finalized after much consideration. An entertainment industry insider explained, “Dex and Sana both made a strong impression as MCs in previous seasons, not only drawing out the charms of their guests but also leaving a distinct mark with their own personalities. Their chemistry and synergy with diverse guests brought out new sides to the show.” They further added, “Felix, too, is expected to make a strong impact, even in a short-term stint, as this will be his first attempt at hosting a web variety program since his debut. We are curious to see how he will translate the commanding presence he shows on stage into wit and charm as a variety show host.”
The news follows Felix’s recent appointment as the global brand ambassador for the luxury beauty brand HERA. He is also currently serving as an ambassador for several other brands, including Gong Cha and Louis Vuitton.
With his growing influence in the fashion and beauty industry, as well as his presence in FMCG brand endorsements, Felix is now set to showcase another side of himself as a variety show host, further adding to his appeal.
