Stray Kids’ member Changbin makes a heartfelt donation on his birthday.
On August 12, JYP EDM revealed that Stray Kids’ Changbin had donated 100 million KRW to Samsung Medical Center on the occasion of his birthday. A spokesperson for Samsung Medical Center said, “Changbin’s warm heart and his donation of 100 million won will be a great source of strength for the young patients and their families. We will ensure the donation is used carefully for the children’s treatment and recovery.”
Changbin also shared his thoughts in a statement, saying, “I am deeply grateful to be able to return the love of my fans on my birthday and to offer a small ray of hope to children. I hope my gift can help the children recover and grow up healthy.”
Over the years, Changbin has consistently supported charitable causes through donations. Earlier this year, he, along with other Stray Kids members, contributed to the Hope Bridge Korea Disaster Relief Association and World Vision to support wildfire recovery efforts in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions. In 2023, he donated to The Promise to support emergency relief efforts for the Türkiye–Syria earthquake and was subsequently inducted into The Promise’s Honors Club.
