Stray Kids makes history yet again by breaking another record!
On March 11, Stray Kids received a RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) gold certification for their album ‘合 (HOP).’ Gold certifications are awarded to albums that sell over 500,000 units in the U.S.
With this milestone, Stray Kids become the K-pop act with the most RIAA gold album certifications, making history as the first to achieve five.
Their previous gold-certified albums include ‘★★★★★ (5-STAR),’ ‘ROCK-STAR,’ ‘ATE,’ and ‘MAXIDENT.’ In total, Stray Kids has now earned nine RIAA gold certifications, which also include four singles: ‘God’s Menu,’ ‘MANIAC,’ ‘Back Door,’ and ‘Thunderous.’

The group shared the news on X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, ‘“HOP” just became our fifth gold-certified album! Thank you so much, STAY, for the unbelievable support.’
This achievement cements Stray Kids’ position as one of the most successful K-pop acts in the U.S., as they continue their global domination.
The group is set to release their first project of 2025, a digital single titled ‘Mixtape: dominATE,’ on March 21.
