STARSHIP Entertainment’s upcoming K-pop boy group is gearing up for a highly anticipated debut!
On July 17, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that its rookie group IDID will debut this September with their first mini album, ‘I did it.’
IDID is a seven-member group formed through STARSHIP’s survival reality show ‘Debut’s Plan.’ According to the agency, the group’s name “embodies its ambition to achieve anything through relentless effort.” The group consists of Jang Yong Hoon, Kim Min Jae, Park Won Bin, Chu Yoo Chan, Park Seong Hyeon, Baek Jun Hyuk, and Jeong Se Min.
Originally intended to be an eight-member group, STARSHIP announced in June that trainee Park Jun Hwan had stepped down due to psychological distress following a controversy.
IDID had previously released individual concept photos and various teasers, including a schedule teaser for their pre-debut release, which is set for July 24 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
