STARSHIP Entertainment has confirmed the debut lineup and name of its new boy group.
On May 4, STARSHIP Entertainment’s survival show ‘Debut’s Plan: NewKids’ aired its final episode, revealing the members who made it to the final lineup. The group consists of the top five contestants from the program, one member chosen purely through fan votes, and two members saved by the board, making a total of eight members. The final lineup includes Jang Yonghoon, Kim Minjae, Park Wonbin, Chu Yoochan, Park Junhwan, Park Seonghyeon, Baek Junhyuk, and Jeong Semin.

Additionally, STARSHIP Entertainment announced that the group will be called IDID.
‘Debut’s Plan’ aired on YouTube from March 14 to May 4, featuring 21 contestants competing for a spot in STARSHIP’s upcoming boy group. MONSTA X’s Minhyuk served as the special MC for the show, and the panel of trainers included K.Will, WJSN’s Yeonjung, choreographer Choi Youngjoon, MONSTA X’s Shownu, Simeez, and more. Special mentors such as MONSTA X’s I.M, CRAVITY’s Serim and Taeyoung, and IVE’s Gaeul and Liz also appeared on the show. Meanwhile, the finale was hosted by MONSTA X’s Joohoney.
Notably, IDID will be STARSHIP’s first boy group in five years, following the debut of CRAVITY. The label also recently introduced a new girl group, KiiiKiii, on March 24, its first since IVE in 2021.
IDID is expected to debut in the second half of 2025.
