Song Joong Ki and his wife Katy Louise Saunders have been blessed with a baby boy!
On June 14, Song Joong Ki’s agency, High Zium Studio, released a statement announcing that the actor has become a father to a baby boy.
To personally share this joyful news with his fans, Song Joong Ki posted an endearing monochromatic picture of his baby holding his finger along with a letter on the official fan cafe.
In the heartfelt letter, Song Joong Ki expressed his greetings and asked about the well-being of his fans. He shared that he recently completed filming for the movie ‘My Name is Loh Kiwan’ in Hungary and attended the Cannes Film Festival with the film ‘Hopeless.’ While he cherished those experiences, he revealed that the greatest delight in his life was to meet his healthy baby boy at his wife’s hometown in Rome, Italy. He reassured everyone that his wife and son are doing well, and expressed that he is filled with gratitude while taking good care of his family. Song Joong Ki emphasized that his family is the most precious gift he and his wife could receive, and expressed his gratitude to all those who supported him along the way. As an actor at heart, he concluded the letter by extending his well wishes for their health and promising to return soon with new projects.
Song Joong Ki announced his relationship with Katy in december last year and exchanged their vows earlier in January. Alongside this, they had also shared the news of expecting a baby.
