On October 25, K-Pop singer-songwriter Somi dropped the official music video teaser for her upcoming comeback ‘XOXO’. The song will be the title track for the soloist’s first studio album ‘XOXO’.
The singer is back for the sweet revenge raising the expectations of her fans all around the globe. The teaser begins with the artist being sad and being consoled by her friends, then rapidly turns into a series of revenge plots with the artist smashing the car using a hammer, landing a kick on a painting and finally ends with a car being flipped. It is during the end that we get to catch a glimpse of the actual music of the track, possibly the chorus. All along in the teaser, the fans can see the innocent yet stunning visual of the artist.
On October 21, the tracklist for the album was released which included a total of 8 tracks along with her released singles like ‘Dumb Dumb’, ‘Birthday’ and ‘What You Waiting For’. Her previous single ‘Dumb Dumb’ gained over 50 million views on YouTube and ranked 8th on the Gaon chart and 9th on K-Pop Hot 100 list. The artist was also appointed as the Public Relations Ambassador by the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

During a press conference after the release of her single ‘Dumb Dumb’, the artist shared how she had spent the past year practising and recording a lot of songs.
Somi made her solo debut on June 13, 2019, with the single ‘Birthday’ under the agency The Black Label. Despite her having her solo debut recently, the artist has captured the hearts of all the fans around the globe with her performing and songwriting skills.
‘XOXO’ will be released on October 29, 6 PM KST (8:30 PM IST) across every music streaming platform.
