So Ji Sub confirmed to lead a new SBS drama!
On September 11, SBS Drama announced that actor So Ji Sub has been cast in their upcoming drama ‘Manager Kim’ (literal title).

‘Manager Kim’ is an action-noir drama starring So Ji Sub as Manager Kim, an ordinary family man who works as a bank employee in a small savings bank. When his daughter, Min Ji, mysteriously disappears, his hidden past comes to light. He is revealed to be a veteran covert operative with experience in numerous high-stakes missions between North and South Korea, and sits atop North Korea’s most-wanted blacklist. Though his existence is like a ticking time bomb that must remain hidden in South Korea, he risks everything to find and rescue his daughter.
The production team shared, “‘Manager Kim,’ which will air as a new SBS Friday-Saturday drama in 2026, will combine its solid original story with So Ji Sub’s vivid performance as an extraordinary father to create a veteran blockbuster that will shake up 2026.
