Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung is making her Hollywood debut.
On April 24 (local time), ‘From the World of John Wick: Ballerina’ released character posters from the movie, one of which features Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung. The idol and actress is set to play the role of Katla Park, the daughter of Ruska Roma’s colleague Il Seong. The film’s protagonist, Eve, is tasked with protecting Katla Park at the lavish Minus Eleven club during her first field mission.

‘Ballerina’ is a spin-off of the ‘John Wick’ movie franchise and takes place between the end of ‘John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’ and the beginning of ‘John Wick: Chapter 4.’ The movie centers on Eve Macarro, portrayed by Ana de Armas, a ballerina-assassin trained at the Ruska Roma Ballet School set to avenge her father’s death. Keanu Reeves will also reprise his role as John Wick in the movie.
Meanwhile, Sooyoung is also set to greet her fans in the new tvN series ‘Second Shot at Love’, which premieres on May 12.
‘From the World of John Wick: Ballerina’ is set to hit theaters on June 6.
