SG Entertainment, a company in Seoul, has launched a series of webtoons via Patreon and Naver Webtoon.
The very first issue of the webtoon titled “K-Pop Company Insider” has released earlier today via Patreon and will be released via Naver webtoon on August 19. The webtoon will be available in a handful of languages, first in English, followed by Korean, Spanish, and French. The new episodes will drop on a weekly basis.
“K-Pop Company Insider” is a fictional tale/ narrative, written by the label’s Director Quiandez “Gyu” McAfee, who uses real staff members, K-POP elements, and details of the company’s establishment into homes internationally.
Future series from the brand includes a webtoon about the label’s future girl group “Alpha Ray,” with further plans to create an interconnected universe for fans to enjoy with the availability of various contents.

Additionally, SG Entertainment will release behind-the-scenes content for webtoon OST’s, interviews, draft drawings, and podcasts intend giving fans a closer look at the label’s operations via Patreon. One of the OST’s will feature a trainee, under the entertainment, who will be providing consumers with a look into SG Entertainment’s plans to approach the K-Pop world. Physical and digital copies of the webtoon will be made available on Amazon and OSTs will also be available for download at online music shops.
