On September 16th, Seventeen’s social media accounts reflected the vocal unit member Yoon Jeonghan‘s surprise single titled ‘Dream.’
A surprise to the fans as there was no previous announcement made in regard to it. Is this perhaps a spoiler for a solo comeback? We don’t know yet but this surprise definitely made a lot fans happy!

What came as another surprise to Carats is that, this song is not written or produced by Seventeen as a whole or their multitalented member and composer Woozi, but Jeonghan himself, as he is credited as both the writer and producer of this song. This explains why it was quite different from Seventeen’s usual muse. Rather than the hard synth, hip-hop and ballad EDMs that serve as a staple for the group’s songs, Jeonghan’s mellow acoustic instrumental has proven his talent through the whole single.
Jeonghan’s solo single comes after Seventeen’s most recent 8th mini album comeback Your Choice when it peaked at #1 for eleven weeks on Billboards Top Album Sales chart in July.
“Dream” by Seventeen’s Yoon Jeonghan, is available in both Korean and Japanese for the fans to enjoy.
