On September 16 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), Hoshi dropped his new song, ‘TAKE A SHOT,’ across major music streaming platforms.
The track is a hip hop song rooted in the rage genre, combining Hoshi’s intense rap with layered synths and guitar riffs to create a heavy yet fast-paced energy. Bringing his energy to the writing process, Hoshi co-wrote the lyrics with heartfelt passion.
“The new song will show Hoshi’s determination and goals that he set with the 10th anniversary of SEVENTEEN’s debut,” the agency said in a press release.
Later on the same day, the Northern Business Headquarters of the Gyeonggi Community Chest of Korea announced that Hoshi recently donated 100 million KRW to support classroom construction and remodeling Mansansa Public School in Ndola, Zambia.
With his enlistment today, Hoshi becomes the fourth SEVENTEEN member to begin fulfilling his mandatory military service.
