Seoul International Drama Awards 2025 reveals its full lists of winners!
On September 16, the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025 announced the official winners, selected from a total of 276 entries representing 50 countries and 409 individual submissions across three categories. Overall, seven productions and 16 individuals were honored with awards.
The Golden Bird Prize was awarded to Ben Stiller for ‘Severance’ Season 2. In the International Competition, the Grand Prize went to the United Kingdom’s ‘Adolescence’, while South Korea’s ‘The Son’ was named Best TV Movie. The Best Miniseries award went to the United States’ ‘Pachinko’ Season 2, and Turkiye’s ‘The Good & The Bad’ won in the Series category.
Hirokazu Koreeda (‘Asura’) and Philip Barantini (‘Adolescence’) shared the Best Director honor, while Dan Erickson (‘Severance’ Season 2) was recognized as Best Screenwriter. Owen Cooper (‘Adolescence’) took home Best Actor, with Cate Blanchett (‘Disclaimer’) and Kim Min Ha (‘Pachinko’ Season 2) named Best Actress.
In the International Invitation section, the Outstanding Asian Star awards went to Kim Seon Ho (‘The Tyrant’) and Jisoo (‘Newtopia’) from South Korea, Sakaguchi Kentaro (‘What Comes After Love’) from Japan, Bai Yu (‘Bank on Me’) from China, Film Rachanun Mahawan (‘Pluto’) from Thailand, Daniel Padilla (‘Incognito’) from the Philippines, and Anna Jobling (‘Dear Love’) from Malaysia.
Within the K-Drama Competition, Outstanding Korean Drama honors were given to ‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’ and ‘When Life Gives You Tangerines.’ Ju Ji Hoon (‘The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call’) won Outstanding Korean Actor, while IU (‘When Life Gives You Tangerines’) received Outstanding Korean Actress.
The award for Outstanding Korean Drama OST went to Young Tak for ‘Unpredictable Life’ (‘For Eagle Brothers’).
