On April 16, KBS2 unveiled the first poster for its upcoming fantasy romance drama ‘The First Night With the Duke,’ starring Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun and 2PM’s Taecyeon.

The drama, written by Jeon Seon Yeong and directed by Lee Woong Hee and Kang Soo Yeon, tells the story of K, a college student who unexpectedly finds her soul transferred into Cha Sun Chaek, a minor character in a romance novel. Her life takes a wild turn when she spends a night with Yi Beon, the novel’s obsessive male lead, and a royal family member, setting off a thrilling romance that defies time and space.
Seohyun plays the dual-layered role of Cha Sun Chaek, now inhabited by the modern-day student K, while Taecyeon portrays the intense and mysterious Yi Beon. Their chemistry and the twist-filled plot are already heightening anticipation for the premiere.
The poster captures the pair in a tender embrace under a twilight sky, their eyes meeting in a moment that speaks of a love that dares to challenge fate itself.
‘The First Night With the Duke’ premieres on June 11 at 9:50 PM KST (6:20 PM IST) on KBS2 and will air every Wednesday and Thursday.
