It’s OFFICIAL! Taxi Driver is coming Back with Season 3.
On April 16, an official from SBS stated,
“It is confirmed that we are promoting season 3. We are planning to start discussions with actors, writers, and other related people soon. As for the main actors, nothing has been decided as they are currently in the beginning stage of discussion.”
With the last episode aired on April 15, SBS Mega Hit Drama ‘Taxi Driver 2‘ recorded the highest viewership rating of 25.6%. It concluded with a nationwide rating of 21% making it the highest-rated prime-time drama so far in 2023.
Based on a webtoon ‘The Deluxe Taxi‘ by Carlos and Lee Jae-jin, Taxi Driver follows the story of Kim Do Gi (Lee Je-hoon)- a private taxi driver who works with a mysterious taxi company ‘Rainbow Taxi‘, to seek revenge on behalf of the victim. The first season aired in 2021 with a sequel in 2023.
