K-Pop star and global icon ROSÉ released her first studio album ‘rosie‘ which is now available via Atlantic Records/THEBLACKLABEL. A 12-track collection, ‘rosie’ is the idol’s most personal and candid project with her co-writing and executive producing it fully. The highlight of the album is the standout single, ‘toxic till the end‘ which premiered today alongside a film-shot music video directed by Ramez Silyan and co-starring Evan Mock. The other songs in the album are ‘number one girl’, ‘3am’, ‘two years’, ’drinks or coffee’, ‘APT. (ROSÉ & Bruno Mars),’ ‘gameboy’, ‘stay a little longer’, ‘not the same’, ‘call it the end’, ‘too bad for us’ and ‘dance all night‘.
‘rosie’s’ lead single ‘APT.‘ with Bruno Mars was released on October 18 and quickly became a worldwide sensation. The song debuted at #8 on the Billboard Hot 100, making ROSÉ the first female Korean artist to reach the top 10 of the chart. Meanwhile the single has held the #1 spot on the Billboard Global 200 chart for the past six consecutive weeks and has amassed over 1.5 billion global streams till date. Bruno Mars and ROSÉ also performed together for the first time in Japan last month at the 2024 MAMA Awards.
ROSÉ is a member of one of the most popular and best-selling K-Pop groups of all time, BLACKPINK. As part of the group, she has shattered records, performed on the most heralded stages, and amassed millions of fans around the world. As a soloist, the Korean-New Zealand superstar’s 2021 single ‘On The Ground‘ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Global 200 chart and became the highest-charting song by a female Korean artist on the Billboard Hot 100 (a record she has now since broken with single ‘APT.’).
