RE:WIND is set to make history as the first K-pop boy group consisting entirely of Asian-American members. The group is gearing up for their highly anticipated debut with the single ‘FOREVER,’ releasing later this month.
‘FOREVER’ promises to be an unforgettable anthem, blending catchy hooks, fierce rap verses, and a magical bridge that will have listeners hitting rewind all day. Fans can expect mind-blowing visuals, powerhouse vocals, and a story that resonates with many.
A three-member group, comprising Eddie, Elaya, and Lei, each member of RE:WIND brings their own story, talent, and unapologetic style to the stage. Their debut is more than just a performance—it’s a movement. For Eddie (2003, Korean-American), Elaya (2002, Japanese-Hispanic-American), and Lei (2000, Chinese-American), their dream is clear: to be seen, to be heard, and to show the world the depth of their artistry.
Once former K-pop idol trainees in South Korea, the members of RE:WIND had to let go of that dream upon aging out and facing the difficulties of being foreigners—away from family, loved ones, and their education. They thought it was the end of the road, but now, under Allele Entertainment, they are redefining what it means to have another chance. Now debuting in their home country, the USA, they aim to help represent and uplift AAPI talent.
Following the success of their pre-release single, ‘RE:SET,’ which amassed 20,000+ streams in just one week, RE:WIND realized they weren’t just chasing their dreams—they were proving that Asian-Americans can have a place in the spotlight. No matter how many setbacks they have faced, their dedication remains unchanged. RE:WIND is here to remind the world that Asian-American talents deserve to be seen and celebrated, whether in K-pop, Western Pop, or beyond.
