This drama is based on an original webtoon and the genre is comedy, fantasy, and romance. 

Plot Summary

Gumiho, literally meaning “nine-tailed fox”, is a mythological creature that appears in Korean folktales and legends. Shin Woo Yeo, is a handsome 999-year-old nine-tailed fox who receives human energy through a marble to become human himself. One day, the drunk friend of Lee Dam, a university student, falls asleep on top of a costly car whose owner happens to be Woo Yeo.

While Lee Dam struggles to take her friend away and Woo Yeo tries to help her, Woo Yeo’s marble accidentally falls out of his mouth, and Lee Dam unintentionally swallows it. The marble can exist inside of a human for no more than 1 year and, afterwards, the marble will break inside the person causing death. Not wanting to lose his chance in becoming a human, Woo Yeo explains to Lee Dam their predicament and suggests living together until they figure out a solution to take out the marble from her.

So how will their cohabitation work out? Will love blossom or trouble?
