tvN’s (@tvn_drama) drama ‘Resident Playbook’ has been finally confirmed to premiere this April!
On January 23, tvN released its K-Drama lineup for 2025. The lineup revealed that the highly anticipated drama ‘Resident Playbook’ will finally premiere in April following multiple delays last year. The drama is the spin-off of the widely loved and popular medical drama ‘Hospital Playlist,’ and was initially supposed to air in May 2024. However, its release was delayed and pushed to the end of the year following the nationwide doctors’ strike and the subsequent public backlash towards medical dramas.
‘Resident Playbook’ follows the challenging lives and endearing friendships of a group of obstetrics and gynecology residents at Yulje Medical Center’s Jongno Branch. The show’s ensemble cast includes Go Youn Jung, Shin Si Ah, Kang You Seok, Jung Joon Won, and Han Ye Ji.
