Former People Crew member and renowned music composer Oh Sung Hoon passed away at the age of 45.
On February 3, Korean media outlets reported that music composer Oh Sung Hoon passed away in a recording studio in the early hours of the day.
Born in 1979, Oh Sung Hoon made his debut in 1998 with the group People Crew alongside MC Mong. A former b-boy, he transitioned to composing after a knee injury. He started his composing career with hit ballads. Some of his prominent works include K. Will’s ‘Love 119,’ Spica’s ‘Remember All My Days,’ Shin Hye Sung’s ‘Age,’ MC Mong’s ‘The Adventure of Huckleberry Mong’ and more.
Oh Sung Hoon has also collaborated with various K-Pop artists like Chungha, Block B, Koyote, and others over the course of his career. He has also worked on OSTs for dramas like ‘Hyena,’ ‘Mask,’ ‘That Winter, the Wind Blows,’ Reborn Rich,’ and more.
Oh Sung Hoon’s family is reportedly still discussing funeral arrangements.
