Seulgi drops a brand-new mini album!
Red Velvet’s Seulgi has released her second mini-album, ‘Accidentally On Purpose’, presenting a bold aesthetic and a distinct concept. The album introduces fans to an edgy side of Seulgi, featuring diverse musical styles and dynamic expressions unlike anything she has done before.
‘Accidentally On Purpose’ features six tracks, with the lead single ‘Baby, Not Baby’ described as a pop-dance song with dramatic melodic progression. The track is driven by a funky bass line and energetic electric guitar performance. The music video effortlessly highlights Seulgi’s bold charisma, ever-changing styling, and choreography that flawlessly aligns with the song’s rhythm.
The album also brings a diverse mix of tracks, including ‘Better Dayz’, ‘Rollin’ (with my Homies)’, ‘Whatever’, ‘Praying’, and ‘Weakness’. Blending genres like alternative pop, R&B pop, and slow-tempo R&B, the album delivers a dynamic sound, with Seulgi’s vocals adding depth and emotion, making it an immersive listening experience. Notably, ‘Weakness’ stands out as the track Seulgi personally contributed to in songwriting.
‘Accidentally On Purpose’ marks Seulgi’s return after more than two years since her first mini album, ‘28 Reasons’, released on October 4, 2022, making this release even more significant.
