JOY returns with a brand-new mini album!
On August 18 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), RED VELVET’s JOY made her long-awaited comeback after a little over four years with her first mini album, ‘From JOY, with Love.’ The album features different stories of love, through JOY’s soulful vocals and distinctive charm.
‘From JOY, with Love’ consists of six tracks, including the title track ‘Love Splash!,’ a refreshing summer song about the heart-fluttering emotions of falling in love for the first time, captured by JOY’s sweet vocals and an addictive rhythm. The music video complements the lyrics with a storyline full of the emotions of falling in love, featuring vintage aesthetics and bright colors, making the MV feel like a movie.
The B-side tracks on the album include ‘Get Up And Dance,’ ‘La Vie En Bleu,’ ‘Unwritten Page,’ ‘Scent of Green,’ and ‘Cuddle,’ each expressing diverse stories of love across different genres, highlighting JOY’s growth as an artist.
JOY also contributed throughout the process of creating the mini album, from sharing personal emotions and stories to writing lyrics and providing ideas for concept images and the music video, making the highly anticipated comeback even more meaningful.
