Red Velvet’s Irene and Seulgi Are Gearing Up for a Unit Comeback!
On April 11, reports revealed that Red Velvet members Irene and Seulgi are preparing to return as a subunit after five years. Their agency, SM Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, “Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi are preparing a new mini album, with the goal of a release in May. Please look forward to it.”
Red Velvet – Irene & Seulgi debuted as Red Velvet’s first subunit in July 2020 with their EP ‘Monster’, featuring the powerful title track of the same name. Later that month, they followed up with the track ‘Naughty’ as part of their promotions.
The upcoming mini album will mark the duo’s first comeback in five years, sparking excitement among fans.
