Prada has officially terminated its contract with Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun.
On March 14, Prada officially confirmed that the brand is ending its partnership with actor Kim Soo Hyun. A representative of the brand stated, “In consideration of the gravity of the issue, we have mutually agreed to terminate our contract with actor Kim Soo Hyun. This decision was made at the headquarters level, and as of now, we can confirm that the contract has been terminated.”
The actor was named Prada’s brand ambassador in December 2024.
Prada’s termination of the contract comes in light of the recent allegations surrounding Kim Soo Hyun involving the late actress Kim Sae Ron. Earlier today (March 14), his agency, GOLDMEDALIST, released an official statement clarifying the allegations against the actor. The agency had also previously denied all accusations against him. However, the ongoing controversy has led various brands to distance themselves from the actor, Prada being one of them.
