PENTAGON’s Wooseok x Lai Kuanlin Reveal Tracklist For ‘9801’, Includes Track Featuring GOT7’s Jackson

PENTAGON’s Wooseok x Lai Kuanlin have released the tracklist for their upcoming unit album.

Wooseok x Kuanlin are scheduled to debut as CUBE ENTERTAINMENT’s upcoming unit and will be releasing their album ‘9801’ on 11th March at 6pm KST. The album name is taken from the rappers’ birth years, as Wooseok is born in 1998 and Kuanlin in 2001.

According to the tracklist that was revealed on 2nd March at midnight KST, the album consists of 5 tracks, including title track ‘별짓 ( literal translation- All Sorts Of Things)’, ’Hypey (Feat. GOT7’s Jackson)’, ‘Always Difficult Always Beautiful’, ‘Good Feeling’, and ‘Domino’. 

The title track is a hip-hop R&B track that has two meanings, a “star” and “doing all sorts of things after one’s birth”. Wooseok and Kuanlin took part in writing the lyrics and shared their own stories through the lyrics in a witty way.

Wooseok, not only wrote the lyrics for the title track but also participated in composing and writing for b-side tracks ‘Always Difficult Always Beautiful ‘, along with fellow PENTAGON member Kino, and ‘Domino’, showing off his talents as a lyricist and composer.

‘Hypey’ was co-composed, written and arranged by Jackson.
