PENTAGON’s Hui has dropped a new digital single right in time for Christmas!
On December 24, at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST), PENTGON’s Hui dropped a new digital single titled, ‘WHU IS KEVIN’. The winter-themed, festive album contains two tracks, ‘Home Alone (feat. Hanhae)’ and ‘Spring in the Winter.’ The digital single also showcases Hui’s talents as a singer-songwriter as the idol has participated in the writing and composing of both songs.

‘Spring in the Winter’ is a ballad that talks about transitioning from a cold and lonely winter into a blossoming spring. Hui compares winter to the challenging times in life and expresses honest feelings of gratitude towards the people who bring spring-like warmth into life.
‘Home Alone (feat. Hanhae)’ is an R&B track with a minimalist arrangement. The song portrays the pain and loneliness one feels when they are away from their loved ones on Christmas and the hope to spend warm time with precious people. The song is made emotional by Hui’s charming voice and Hanhae’s rhythmic rapping.
Through his agency, Hui shared, “This year, I released three albums, including this digital single, and I’m happy to have shown a new side of myself as a solo artist. With this album, I’ve completed my own seasonal emotions, and I hope that every season spent with me will remain a brilliant and warm memory for Universe (Pentagon’s fandom).”
Hui started 2024 with the release of the EP ‘WHU IS ME: Complex’ in January. He went on to release two digital singles— ‘Easy Dance’ featuring Kwon Eun Bi in August and ‘Nameless’ featuring Jang Hye Jin in October.
