SHINee’s Onew is making a comeback!
On June 13 at midnight KST, Onew announced his second full-length album ‘PERCENT’ alongside a trailer titled ‘Trailer G’. The trailer features Onew facing off against a rat. As the rat blinks and tilts its head, Onew mimics the movement. Accompanied by the sound of the rat and bouncy sound effects reminiscent of a fairytale, the trailer piques curiosity about the upcoming release.

‘PERCENT’ marks Onew’s first comeback in about five months since the release of his fourth mini-album ‘CONNECTION’ in January this year. It is also his first full-length album since 2023’s ‘Circle – The 1st Album’. Through ‘PERCENT’, Onew is set to showcase his abilities not just as a singer, but also as a producer.
Onew has been steadily building a unique musical story through his solo releases, exploring diverse styles and concepts with each album. While his third mini-album ‘FLOW’ allowed him to candidly share his thoughts and emotions, staying true to his personal rhythm, his latest mini-album ‘CONNECTION’ delved into the seamless link between his inner world and outward expression, exploring a range of interconnected themes. With his upcoming release ‘PERCENT’, Onew is once again taking on a new challenge and demonstrating his artistic growth, as he took part in producing each track. Now, anticipation is high for the narrative that will unfold in his second full-length album.
‘PERCENT’ is scheduled to release on July 15 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
