ONEUS Makes Their Japanese Comeback with the Release of the Digital Single ‘TIME MACHINE’
On April 30 at midnight KST, ONEUS released their Japanese digital single ‘TIME MACHINE’ across various music platforms. This marks their first Japanese digital single and introduces a refreshing musical shift for the group, known for their powerful performances.
‘TIME MACHINE’ explores the synth-pop genre, driven by rhythmic guitar and bass. Notably, the song’s mysterious yet uplifting melody evokes feelings of nostalgia and hope, taking listeners back to cherished memories, as if traveling through time. In other words, it captures both emotional depth and vibrant energy, showcasing the group’s wide musical spectrum.
The members also played a hands-on role in the creative process. Leedo took the lead in writing, composing, and producing, while Hwanwoong contributed lyrics and choreography, infusing the track with ONEUS’s distinct style. Longtime collaborator Coco Tofu Daddy also participated, enhancing the song’s overall quality.
The group will soon reconnect with fans in person through the 2025 ONEUS FAN CONCERT ‘Between the Earth and the Moon Pt.3’ in JAPAN, scheduled for May 3–4 in Tokyo and May 6 in Osaka.
This comeback features four members, as member Seoho is currently serving in the military. Despite this, ONEUS continues to promote actively both as a group and through individual solo projects in Korea, with each member receiving strong fan support for their unique musical endeavors.
