After the zany mix of comedy and supernatural intrigue in the first two episodes, ‘Oh My Ghost Clients’ takes a dramatic turn in episodes 3 and 4, peeling back its quirky premise to reveal something far more poignant and emotionally charged. The ghostly antics give way to a deeply affecting tale of unresolved pain, institutional cruelty, and a reluctant hero bound by a spiritual contract with stakes higher than he ever imagined.
A Take on Episodes 3 and 4
Episode 3

Episode 3 kicks off with Mu-jin back in that eerie white void, facing Bong-sal, who reveals the true cost of his ghost-whispering contract: a six-month commitment sealed with a deadly clause. Before Mu-jin can argue, Bong-sal sends him hurtling back to Earth.
At the hospital, Mu-jin is medically cleared, but Hui-joo grows worried, especially after he reveals that the man in flaming jeans is responsible for his ghostly mess. Soon, he’s haunted by Cho Eun-yeong, a former nurse whose vengeful spirit clings to him. One night, possessed by Eun-yeong, Mu-jin storms the hospital where she worked, repeating the doctor’s cruel words that once drove her to despair. The encounter leaves him physically drained and emotionally shaken, haunted by a vision of her lifeless body.
In desperation, Hui-joo drags Mu-jin through temples, churches, and shamans. One cryptically warns of a powerful ‘General Spirit’ tied to him, but nothing works until Bong-sal reappears. Mu-jin pleads for Eun-yeong’s spirit to stop haunting him, offering to help. Bong-sal allows her one final possession, and through a harrowing vision, Mu-jin experiences her suffering: bullied, scapegoated, and driven to suicide by her superiors.
Devastated, Mu-jin begs Bong-sal for guidance. The deity leans in, whispering something we don’t hear, leaving us with more questions than answers.
In the quiet epilogue, Mu-jin, once a skeptic, is seen winding a Buddhist prayer bead around his phone. He might still resist belief, but something inside him has already begun to shift.
Episode 4

Episode 4 opens with Mu-jin back in the white void, just as Bong-sal is about to reveal something vital, only for a phone alert to yank him back to reality. An actual earthquake has hit. Coincidence? Likely not.
Haunted by Eun-yeong’s memories, Mu-jin dives into investigating her past. With Hui-joo and Gyeon-u’s help, they track down her grieving family, scour her social media, and visit the smug lawyer who dismisses her as ‘too sensitive.’ The police echo the sentiment, blaming heartbreak instead of harassment.
Hope resurfaces when Mu-jin recalls a lost report possibly hidden at the hospital. Gyeon-u, in disguise with camcorder glasses, infiltrates the hospital to retrieve it. Meanwhile, Mu-jin spots Seo-jeong, the nurse who tormented Eun-yeong, visibly unraveling. When Gyeon-u is exposed and Mu-jin is recognized, chaos breaks out. They find Seo-jeong on the rooftop, ready to jump. Briefly possessed, Mu-jin speaks as Eun-yeong, convincing her to come down. Shaken, Seo-jeong agrees to confess.
With her testimony and critical evidence, including the real cause of Eun-yeong’s depression, the trio exposes the truth. The media latches on, public outrage erupts, and the story becomes a national reckoning over workplace abuse in healthcare. Gyeon-u’s vlog goes viral, and the once-awkward team earns newfound respect.
In the final scene, Eun-yeong appears at her memorial to silently thank Mu-jin before moving on. But just as peace settles, Mu-jin bends to tie his shoe, and a bus hurtles toward him. Fade to black.
An epilogue reveals Bong-sal had secretly intervened to save Seo-jeong, once again proving himself the unseen force shaping fate behind the scenes.
Final Thoughts:

Episodes 3 and 4 mark a turning point in ‘Oh My Ghost Clients’, where comedy gives way to justice and raw emotion. Mu-jin’s reluctant transformation from skeptic to empathetic medium is powerful, especially as he faces the painful realities of the dead. Eun-yeong’s tragic story exposes the cruelty hidden in institutions, begging the question, “How often is suffering ignored?”
On the other hand, Bong-sal remains a cryptic force. Is he a guide or a manipulator? As Mu-jin, Hui-joo, and Gyeon-u grow from a group of misfits to a found family, they begin to face not just ghosts but the systems that failed them. Can they handle what’s coming? Will the spirits continue to reshape the present?
With tension rising and the line between life and death blurring, the bigger question now is just how far are they willing to go for justice, and who is really pulling the strings?
The story’s getting deeper… and mysterious. What do you think?
