On March 4, NMIXX dropped a pre-release track, ‘High Horse,’ from their upcoming EP ‘Fe3O4: FORWARD,’ setting the stage for their highly anticipated comeback.
In the weeks leading up to the comeback, the six-member group comprising Lily, Haewon, Seolyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin have kept fans on edge with a steady stream of concept photos, visual films, a project ship, and an exciting tracklist.
Earlier last week, members Lily, Haewon, Seolyoon, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin shared various stories about
the content of NMIXX on social media. While the group remains rooted in the FIELD, a realm within their MIXXTOPIA universe, they urge their fans to break biases and move FORWARD in their journey alongside them. Through this concept, NMIXX aims to inspire and empower, showcasing a bold and powerful image that resonates with millions striving to overcome fears and limitations.
Adding to the excitement, ‘High Horse’ holds special significance for Indian fans as it features choreography by the renowned Indian dancer Paramdeep Singh. The accomplished performer, known for his numerous accolades and titles, collaborated with international choreographers to craft dynamic moves for the track. Expressing his enthusiasm for being the first Indian choreographer to work with the group, Paramdeep shared, “From creating the hook step effortlessly to piecing together the entire choreography in just 3-4 days, this experience has been nothing short of amazing!” He worked alongside assistant choreographers Vikas Pandey and Vikas Sain, as well as a dedicated team of dancers, to bring fresh and exhilarating elements to the routine.

As anticipation builds for ‘Fe3O4: FORWARD,’ NMIXX has promised a more mature and refined artistic approach. “With this new album, we will show a different, relaxed, and mature charm compared to our previous appearance,” the group stated. They further expressed, “This time, we have newly completed the ship MMU to go to MIXXTOPIA, and we will definitely succeed in the journey we have long wished for, so please look forward to it.”
With six new tracks in the pipeline, ‘Fe3O4: FORWARD’ is shaping up to be an electrifying comeback, marking a significant milestone in NMIXX’s artistic evolution.
‘Fe3O4: FORWARD’ marks the final chapter in the Fe3O4 trilogy, following ‘Fe3O4: BREAK’ and ‘Fe3O4: STICK OUT.’ The EP consists of six tracks, with ‘KNOW ABOUT ME’ as the title track, alongside ‘High Horse,’ ‘Slingshot (<★),’ ‘Golden Recipe,’ ‘Papillon,’ and ‘Ocean.’
‘Fe3O4: FORWARD’ will be released on March 17 at 6 PM KST (2:30 PM IST).
