At this year’s ‘Tudum: A Netflix Global Fan Event‘, Netflix released sneak peeks offering a wide variety of Korean TV series, and films in the upcoming months of 2023. The clip showed a little preview of all the 11 new titles of Korean movies and TV shows, consisting of jaw-dropping original productions and returning fan favorites.
From fighting to safeguard Joseon during Japanese colonial authority in the action drama ‘Song of the Bandits’ to slaying monsters in ‘Gyeongseong Creature‘ during the dark days of 1945, to ‘Believer 2,’ a sequel of a crime action thriller revolving around drug gangs alongside films exploring the topics of revenge ‘Ballerina’ have all been recurring themes in some of the best series.
Fans have been ecstatic to see the return of the highly anticipated series ‘Sweet Home’, and the cast of ‘D.P – Season 2’ coming together again to continue to search for deserters, whose part 1 was awarded the Baeksang Award for Best Drama.
Other new shows included in the sneak peek span a variety of genres, including drama ‘Daily Dose of Sunshine,’ social commentary and intrigue ‘Celebrity,’ ‘Mask Girl‘, ‘A Time Called You‘, and ‘Doona!’
With Netflix, audiences worldwide can now access a larger range of tales and genres. Korean series and films have frequently appeared on Global Top 10 lists in more than 90 countries, including in India, over the past year.
