The teaser poster features Gi-hun (Lee Jung Jae) standing among rows of coffins, his face filled with determination, signaling a season defined by grief and revenge. The tagline, “The final game for 45.6 billion won”, promises even higher stakes for the contestants.
The trailer offers a glimpse of the new challenges ahead, with contestants navigating a maze and picking coloured balls, all while tension builds between Gi-hun and The Front Man, played by Lee Byung Hun. Jun-ho, played by Wi Ha Jun, continues to search for the game’s origins, and No-eul, played by Park Gyu Young, a Pink Guard, hints at a new layer of intrigue. A baby’s cry in the final moments raises questions about Jun Hee’s (Jo Yu Ri) fate, adding an emotional twist.
The stills show Gi-hun in a vulnerable state, sobbing in the grip of the Pink Guards, while the other survivors face the emotional and physical toll of the game. As the players gear up for the final round, it’s clear that only one will survive.
‘Squid Game Season 3’ will drop on Netflix on June 27, and promises to be the most intense, high-stakes season yet.
