NCT’s Mark gears up for his debut full-length album!
On March 10, a Korean media outlet reported that NCT’s Mark is set to release his first studio album on April 7. Responding to the reports, his agency, SM Entertainment, stated, “NCT’s Mark is currently preparing for an April 7 release. We will announce further details at a later date. Please show lots of interest.”
Originally set for release in February 2025, the album was postponed “to enhance the overall quality of Mark’s first full-length solo album,” as announced by the company in December 2024.
Ahead of the album’s release, Mark dropped ‘Fraktsiya feat. Lee Young Ji’ on December 16, 2024, and ‘200’ in May 2024.
Mark debuted with NCT’s subunit NCT U in April 2016 with the single ‘The 7th Sense’ before joining NCT 127 in July 2016 with the mini-album ‘NCT #127.’ He later debuted in NCT DREAM with ‘Chewing Gum’ in August 2016 and became part of SM Entertainment’s supergroup SuperM in October 2019 with their self-titled EP and lead track ‘Jopping.’
In February 2022, Mark released his first solo song, ‘Child,’ as part of the NCT Lab project, followed by ‘Golden Hour’ in April 2023.
