NCT WISH’s Riku is coming back from his hiatus!
On February 3, SM Entertainment announced the return of Riku to NCT WISH after his temporary hiatus last year. Riku went on a break in October 2024 due to health issues. However, after four months of hiatus, Riku is ready to be back, and the company stated, “Riku, who temporarily halted activities due to health reasons, has been focusing on rest and recovery. We are pleased to inform you that his condition has significantly improved.”
Riku will be joining back activities in March and NCT WISH will continue to carry out their scheduled activities for February with five members—Sion, Yushi, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. Riku will start by participating in the ‘2025 NCT WISH ASIA TOUR LOG in’ as well as contribute to a new album that NCT WISH is preparing for. As per the company, the group’s new album is scheduled to be released in the first half of the year.
