My Digital Day at 2025 Weverse Con: A Fan’s Dream Come True

Even though I wasn’t physically there, Weverse Con made me feel present, like I was part of something much bigger than just a livestream.

It all started when I won the lucky draw for the 2025 Weverse Con Festival Ticket Giveaway Event for Day 1, Saturday, May 31. Competing with thousands of global fans for a limited number of free streaming tickets felt like something out of a dream. At that moment, I truly felt like the luckiest woman alive.

The festival officially began at 2:30 PM IST (6 PM KST), but by 1:30 PM, I was already in my seat—water bottle, snacks, a racing heart, and tons of excitement in tow. Even though I wasn’t physically there, Weverse Con made me feel present, like I was part of something much bigger than just a livestream.

82MAJOR kicked things off with explosive energy. Their stage lit up with ‘TAKEOVER’, and the hard-hitting choreography combined with dynamic camera angles made it feel like I had front-row seats. I gasped when they transitioned into ‘Struck’. The members shared how much they’d anticipated this day and how hard they had prepared for it. They continued with ‘Thorns’ and ‘Heroes’, two of their most mellow tracks, and wrapped up their set with ‘Choke’.

Next up was FIFTY FIFTY, bringing sparkle and charm to the stage. Their bright energy and crystal-clear vocals instantly warmed up the screen. Starting with a cute mashup of their ‘TWENTY‘ era and ‘Pookie’, they followed it up with ‘SOS’, amplifying their signature sweetness. The members shared, “We only heard about Weverse Con Festival, but now we’re finally here! Each year, the festival spreads globally, showcasing amazing stages from various artists, and we’re truly honored to be part of it.” Their performance continued with ‘Midnight Special’ and ended with the globally loved track ‘Gravity’.

ILLIT stepped in with confidence and grace. Opening with ‘Tick-Tack’, their charisma instantly stood out. The stage was dreamy and elegant, bathed in soft lighting and pastels that gave their performance a storybook vibe. Their newly launched official light stick glowed in rainbow colors as they performed ‘IYKYK’ and ‘I’ll Like You’. Returning for their second Weverse Con after last year’s debut appearance, they upped the excitement with the GLLIT fan-favorite ‘Almond Chocolate’ (Korean version). They also shared a spoiler from their upcoming mini-album ‘bomb‘, dropping June 16, before wrapping up with ‘Cherish (My Love)’ and the viral banger, ‘Magnetic’.

Then came TREASURE, igniting the stage with raw power. They started strong with a howl for ‘King Kong’, then moved into ‘I Want Your Love’. The emotional title track ‘Yellow’ from their special mini-album ‘PLEASURE‘ followed, along with the B-side ‘SARURU’ and the nostalgic ‘Run’. Performing at Weverse Con for the first time, they amazed TREASURE MAKERs with a fiery and memorable set, closing with the global hit ‘DARARI’.

The mood then shifted as ENHYPEN’s Jungwon and Ni-Ki took the stage as MCs. With heartfelt sincerity, they introduced the Tribute Star segment, paying homage to BoA:

“A star shined somewhere other than Korea. She made her own path, just by following her dream. For the past 25 years, that star has continued to inspire us—and guided us along the path of K-pop.”

ILLIT and FIFTY FIFTY honored BoA with beautiful performances of ‘Peace B’ and ‘Valenti’, respectively—an elegant prelude to the legend herself.

Then, BoA—the Queen—appeared. The entire atmosphere shifted. The lighting, the sound mix, her confidence; it was like time stood still. Radiant and captivating, she had every Jumping BoA’s heart beating with the rhythm of her songs. She performed ‘Hurricane Venus’ and ‘My Name’, then expressed her gratitude for being part of the 2025 Weverse Con Festival. BoA warmly thanked Jungwon and Ni-Ki for their wonderful introduction, and ILLIT and FIFTY FIFTY for their heartfelt tributes. As this year marks BoA’s 25th debut anniversary, her performance was a true testament to her enduring artistry.

She continued with ‘Only One’, ‘No Matter What’, and ‘Atlantis Princess’, saying, “I’ll continue to do my best to bring you even better music, so please keep supporting me and stay with me on this journey.” She ended her set with the timeless ‘No.1’, a moment that left us breathless.

Following BoA, VIVIZ brought their dreamy elegance. Opening with ‘Shhh’, they enchanted with ‘Pull Up’, ‘Red Sun’, and ‘Bop Bop!’. The members shared their joy about meeting Na.Vs across the world during last year’s tour and teased an upcoming comeback and concert. They wrapped up with ‘Maniac’, a performance that felt more like art than a stage. Their vocals floated like magic across the screen.

Finally, the headliners of the night—ENHYPEN—took over. They started with the high-energy ‘Future Perfect (Pass the MIC)’, followed by ‘Blessed-Cursed’ and ‘Blockbuster’. The group shared how nervous and proud they were about performing at Coachella, saying, “Although we’ve been on many stages, our hearts were seriously about to burst that day. But since we had each other, and thanks to our ENGENEs, we were able to finish that stage strong.”

For fans who missed Coachella, they had a special surprise—a stage similar to the one they performed there. They continued with ‘Loose’ from their upcoming album ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH’, then performed ‘XO (Only If You Say Yes)’, ‘No Doubt’, ‘Sweet Venom’, ‘ParadoXXX Invasion’, and ‘Paranormal’.

As an ENGENE, I felt overwhelmed with emotion when they performed ‘Shout Out’, a long-awaited fan favorite. Then came my absolute favorite: ‘Moonstruck’ with a live band. The first-ever live performance of ‘Blind’ was mesmerizing, and ‘Daydream’ was the perfect follow-up. They gave us a small spoiler from the point choreography of ‘DESIRE: UNLEASH‘, which drops June 5.

ENHYPEN ended their set with the electrifying ‘Bite Me’, closing out the night with a bang. The concert wrapped at 6:00 PM IST (9:30 PM KST), but I was still buzzing with adrenaline.

As an ENGENE, it was an unforgettable experience. I held my breath during some moments—the synchronization, the transitions, their expressions, everything was flawless. I couldn’t stay still. I was singing and dancing in my chair, fully immersed in every second. I even forgot I was watching alone. It truly felt like the entire fandom was connected through the screen, our hearts beating as one with the music.

It was truly magical. Thank you, Weverse, for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
