MONSTA X is returning with a special digital album!
On May 5 KST, MONSTA X surprised fans by unveiling a ‘Coming Soon’ teaser poster on their official social media, announcing the release of their digital album ‘NOW PROJECT vol. 1’.

‘NOW PROJECT vol. 1’ will include 10 tracks, featuring both title songs and B-sides that were originally released between 2021 and 2023. Each track has been re-recorded with all six members: Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Jooheon, and I.M. All songs originally released during the members’ military service have now been re-recorded to feature all six voices, completing them as they were always intended to be.
Notably, this release marks exactly 10 years since their debut with the EP ‘TRESPASS’. This release will serve as the first step in MONSTA X’s next era. STARSHIP Entertainment also shared that the album is titled ‘NOW’, a reversal of ‘MON’ from their name, and it reflects the group’s current identity and continued artistic evolution.
Despite the challenges of military service, MONSTA X never paused their journey. The members stayed active through individual activities, sub-unit promotions, and their personal reality show. With Hyungwon set to be discharged on May 13, the group will be fully reunited just in time for the album’s release.
Furthermore, this release marks the beginning of a new chapter. Rather than merely revisiting past works, MONSTA X is breathing new life into them by interpreting these songs through the lens of who they are today.
‘NOW PROJECT vol. 1’ is set to release on May 14 at 12 PM KST (8:30 AM IST).
