The upcoming music romance film ‘Midnight Sun’ has released two evocative new posters, stirring anticipation ahead of its much-awaited premiere.
The first poster offers a collage of heartfelt scenes: Mi Sol strumming her guitar as she sings with raw emotion, Min Joon smiling warmly, and the couple sharing a heartfelt embrace. Accompanied by the poignant tagline, “When the sun sets, I’ll come find you,” the images tease a film that is both emotionally resonant and visually rich.

In contrast, the second poster captures a magical moment by the beach, with Mi Sol and Min Joon performing a passionate duet under the star-lit sky. Their connection radiates through their smiles and body language, echoing the romantic tagline, “I want to see you every night.”
Starring Jung Zi So as Mi Sol and Cha Hak Yeon as Min Joon, ‘Midnight Sun’ tells the touching story of two young souls brought together by their shared love of music—and the rare circumstances that limit their time together. Mi Sol suffers from XP syndrome, a condition that prevents her from being exposed to sunlight. As a result, the pair can only meet at night, turning their evenings into fleeting moments of love, dreams, and harmony.
Directed by Cho Young Jun, ‘Midnight Sun’ promises a blend of melody, emotion, and heartfelt storytelling, offering audiences a glimpse into a love story that blossoms only in the quiet hours of the night.
As the release date approaches, fans eagerly await what could be one of the year’s most touching cinematic experiences—a story of love found in the moonlight and strengthened through music.
‘Midnight Sun’ will premiere in theatres on May 28, 2025.
