MEOVV is set to share the stage with Taeyang at his upcoming encore concert.
On January 31, THEBLACKLABEL stated, “MEOVV will be appearing as a guest at Taeyang’s encore concert.” Taeyang is set to hold his encore concert on February 1 and 2 at the Inspire Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon.
Taeyang held his first solo concert in seven years at the Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul, in August 2024, much to the delight of fans. His performance with fellow BIGBANG members G-DRAGON and Daesung drew a lot of attention and appreciation.
Taeyang’s upcoming encore concert is also expected to feature an impressive lineup of guests, with MEOVV being the first to be announced.
MEOVV debuted in September 2024 with the digital single ‘MEOW’. Since then, the group has released two more singles, ‘TOXIC’ and ‘BODY,’ gaining attention for their strong performances and visuals. Their participation in Taeyang’s concert is expected to showcase the chemistry between the junior and senior artists.
Taeyang started ‘THE LIGHT YEAR’ tour in August 2024 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul. Since then, he has traveled to Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Australia, and Malaysia as part of the tour. ‘THE LIGHT YEAR’ is expected to continue in 2025 with shows in Thailand, Macau, and Manila. However, the domestic encore concert is being hailed as a highlight of the tour, with organizers promising a grander and more visually spectacular performance.
