MAMAMOO’s Whee In has found a new agency to call home.
On July 25, With US Entertainment announced that they had signed an exclusive contract with Whee In. They shared, “We signed an exclusive contract with Whee In. We respect Whee In’s captivating vocals and outstanding musicality, and we plan to provide our full support so that she can fully showcase her abilities as a solo artist.” The agency also promised its complete support to the idol for all her future endeavors, stating, “We will do our utmost to ensure that Whee In can actively promote both as a solo artist and as a member of MAMAMOO.”
Whee In’s exclusive contract with her previous agency, THE L1VE, ended last August. Since then, she has been a free agent and reportedly spent about a year in discussions with several companies before ultimately choosing With US Entertainment.
Whee In debuted in 2014 as a part of MAMAMOO, with the mini album ‘HELLO’. She made her solo debut in April 2018 with the digital single ‘magnolia’. Since then, she has released several digital singles, a single album ‘soar’, two mini albums ‘Redd’ and ‘WHEE’, and a studio album ‘IN the mood’. Last year, she successfully held her first solo world tour, ‘WHEE IN THE MOOD [BEYOND]’.
As Whee In begins a new chapter with With US, fans are eager to see how her unique sound will evolve and what fresh paths she’ll take.
Meanwhile, With US Entertainment is home to the boy group The Wind and recently signed exclusive contracts with Apink members Park Chorong, Yoon Bomi, Kim Namjoo, and Oh Hayoung.
Wishing Whee In all the best for her new beginning!
