Less Than A Week To Go For NCT 127s ‘STICKER’ Comeback

NCT 127 is coming back with their third Korean studio album ‘STICKER’ on September 17.

The album will consist of eleven tracks, including the lead single of the same name. Promotions for the upcoming album have started in full swing as NCTzens are constantly being well-fed with content before the actual comeback.

On August 20, a teaser video titled “Who is STICKER?” was released where the members were seen obediently working as dedicated students and enjoying their own sweet time but once the night comes they turn into savage hackers who are onto conquer something huge in secret.

 

 

As the dates for their latest album was disclosed, the Neos were all in character with a college/university students concept or rather NCIT. Right from their looks, hairstyles, and also their oversized sweatshirts, they did quite a few lives on NCT 127s official Instagram to connect to the fans. They also went all out on using hashtags such as #universiy #unilife #coding #programingcrew #ootd and #studygram as well to set the mood.

Ever since then, fans have been attacked with abundant teaser images for each track, moving posters, reels, and track videos of various kinds, all available on the officials SNS accounts.

 

 

NCT is known for bringing in the latest trend for concept releases. Short music videos have been released for tracks such as “Dreamer”, “Magic Carpet Ride” and “Road Trip” but the fan-favourite so far has been “Lemonade”. The catchy music, chorus, and members dressed in all black have made fans week at their knees.

NCT 127 also surprised fans by hosting a VLIVE dedicated to spoilers. YES! as astonishing as it may sound, the concept of the whole VLIVE was for them to give as many spoilers as possible with its level of severity. That means each member could pick different levels ranging from level 1 (subtle spoiler) to level 10 (HUGE spoiler).

On September 9, NCT 127 social media handles announced their comeback show that will be available worldwide through their YouTube. The show is set to air at 1 PM KST on September 18. The group will also be performing on The Late Late Show with James Corden on September 16.

NCT 127 also surprised the fans with a 30-minute sitcom “NCIT HOUSE: Our sharehouse with full of joy and love” on YouTube that seemed like an improv done by the members themselves. It had a whole university frat boys vibe in the 90s with the occasional live audience laughter in the background.

In this special video, Johnny and Jaehyun are busy trying to convince Mark and themselves that Mark is indeed Spiderman and are very suspicious of him while Mark tries his level best to bring them back to reality. Johnny hilariously goes all the way and compares Mark’s butt to Spiderman’s. In another scene, Haechan ends up making a rather silly presentation that was due while Taeil and Jungwoo play video games. Meanwhile, Doyoung and Taeyong are obsessing over Yuta‘s fortune cards. Quite a few spoilers along the way and the casual yet adorable references to their fans by lovingly addressing them as “Cezenie” as their guest who will be coming over.

 

 

Previously, NCT 127 had released their Amoeba Culture collaboration – SAVE on June 4.
