Lee Soo Hyuk and Ha Yoon Kyung’s upcoming mystery film ‘Paran’ has revealed a compelling new poster.
On March 18 KST, the production team confirmed the film’s release. They unveiled the poster and dropped the highly anticipated trailer ahead of its big-screen debut. Directed by Kang Dong-In and produced by Tui J Studio, ‘Paran’ (파란) is set to hit theaters this April.

The film follows the intertwined lives of two individuals—Tae Hwa, the son of a perpetrator, and Mi Ji, the daughter of a victim—both weighed down by their families’ painful legacies. Trapped in the shadows of their pasts, they find an unlikely connection that offers them a chance to rediscover meaning in life.
Lee Soo Hyuk portrays Tae Hwa, a talented clay target shooter struggling with the guilt of receiving a lung transplant from his criminal father. Ha Yoon Kyung takes on the role of Mi Ji, a woman who channels her inner turmoil into reckless acts, all while grappling with her identity as the daughter of a victim.
After a successful screening in the Korean Cinema section of the 2023 Jeonju International Film Festival, ‘Paran’ generated significant buzz and was lauded for its gripping narrative and emotionally charged performances. The film left a lasting impression on audiences, making it one of the festival’s most memorable highlights.
