Lee Jae Wook confirmed to lead Netflix’s new horror-fantasy series!
On April 4 KST, Korean media reported that actor Lee Jae Wook will be starring in the upcoming Netflix original series ‘Honeycomb Project’ (literal title). Shortly after, his agency, Log Studio, confirmed the news.
‘Honeycomb Project’ is an eight-episode horror-fantasy series that follows Byeon Hyeok Jun (played by Lee Jae Wook), a man in his 30s who takes on a high-paying part-time job, only to find himself pulled into a web of unexpected and chilling events.
The series is created by Han Jun Hee, known for acclaimed works like ‘Coin Locker Girl’, ‘D.P.’ , and ‘Weak Hero’, while director Kim Da Min of ‘Makgeolli Will Tell You’ will lead the production.
This marks another exciting addition to Lee Jae Wook’s growing lineup of projects. He is currently appearing in the tvN variety show ‘Fresh Off the Sea 2’ and is also gearing up for his role in the Netflix historical romance series ‘Dear Hongrang’, set to be released later this year.
Ever since the announcement, anticipation for ‘Honeycomb Project’ has been steadily building. With Lee Jae Wook stepping into a thrilling new genre, fans can’t wait to see what twists and turns lie ahead.
