Lee Dong Wook’s ‘A Shop For Killers’ Confirmed To Return For A Second Season

Popular Disney+ drama ‘A Shop for Killers’ is coming back with Season 2!

On December 31, 2024, a Korean media outlet exclusively reported that the hit Disney+ original series ‘A Shop for Killers’ has been renewed for a second season.

The first season of ‘A Shop for Killers’ starred Lee Dong Wook and Kim Hye Jun as Jeong Jin Man and Jeong Ji An respectively. Adapted from Kang Ji Young‘s novel of the same name, the series follows Ji An who is raised by her uncle Jin Man in a mysterious shopping mall. However, when her uncle dies, Jia An soon finds herself in the crosshairs of danger when unknown killers target her to get to the shopping mall she inherited from Jin Man.

‘A Shop for Killers’ gained immense popularity upon its release in January 2024, and speculations about a second season were high. However, the director Lee Kwon, addressed the possibility at the ‘2024 Disney+ Content Lineup Media Day,’ stating, “We are planning Season 2, but it’s challenging. I’m not sure what story to tell or how to approach it.”

Now, that the series has received official confirmation for a renewal, filming plans have been revealed, and is set to start in April 2025. The cast of ‘A Shop for Killers’ also includes Seo Hyun Woo, Jo Han Sun, Park Ji Bin, Keum Hae Na, Lee Tae Young, and Kim Min.
